Ok everyone here it is the water effect tutorial. Try it out and have fun. Any further questions are welcomed and remember, have fun..

A few notes:

Included is the water texture I created. The origional that I used was a 5000/5000 sized document weighing in at a hefty 54MB. So I've enclosed a smaller copy. If you *really* want to create the same resolution and effect of the water, simply open up the texture in Photoshop(or an program alike) and create a new document along side it. Create the document at a very large size, 3000/3000 - 6000/6000 which ever you like. Once created go back to the water texture select around it and copy...... then paste within the big window. Now copy again and again and again pasting them along side each other untill you have covered your entire huge document. You may want to touch it up a little to get rid of the seams for a more polished effect.

Also, the white space in the background that i've left is where you add the noise with your blue and greens. The reason this was left out of the tutorial was due to the fact that it takes a good few hours to create somthing as polished as before and its basically pretty straight forward. Next time I create a scene like the previous i'll be sure to create a ZScript for you. :)

So play around with this, see what you can come up with. I'd love to see what you guys produce from this. Remember you can adjust the height of the waves in which ever manner you like, and you can also pick different materials, just have fun and cater it to your likes.

That's fine :) Lemme know how you go. If you need any help just ask. I just didn't want to write out an entire list of every action I did =P I sort of mix and match as I go. I thought that's the way *everyone* did it :P hehe

its asking for a watertexture.BMP or watertexture.PSD as a IMPORT do you have it?
it must be used as the same name to work right. watertexture.

[IPress,TEXTURE:INVENTORY:IMPORT] [IPress,TEXTURE:watertexture]

if you need any help on understanding let me know i wrote this in your other post....................

hi myownhand to record a script you can open up zbrush and make it as normal and when your done hit (end Rec)
top left in (Z script)
You will get a promp were to save it so make sure you know were and you can re name it if you like.
now you will have a new button on the bottom middle of your screen that says PLAY you can test it from there......
if you (import) any thing it might not work for us. and if you do (import) we need the same .bmp psd ,zlt ect ect so we will know just incase you used any import that way it will work for us

your saying take this pic http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1011796167adt.jpg and save it as a BMP as watertexture.bmp and use it as the texture when it ask me to (import) i tryed that no luck doesn't look right..
i see you had made the canvas 1520 width height 1140 i dunno but a while back by ZOOMING when making a
Z script messed the script up and yours don't look right.
you could all so make your texture in zbrush and once your done use the MRGBZgrabber over in TOOL top right and it will grab it as a texture so no import will be needed.
so try and not to ZOOM or adjust the canvas size and use IMPORT because it might not work right for us...
your import psd or bmp width and height could mess it up if we dont have the same width and height .
but if i had to guess when you adjusted the canvas size is what messed it up.

MOH just a point of clarification. Was the script that you posted used to produce the image shown in this thread. If it was it looks nothing like the other image shown. DeeVee
