Aluminum and all other metals are reserve items and will be kept for the yard sale.

These items are not to be confused with those sold
through the daz platinum club.

There will be free updates on many of the items as soon
as the beta users report back.
The snickers/mouse droppings are sold on an "as is" basis.

This entire thing has rather shaken my world view.

You had a prom date?

bicc39
08-16-07, 01:53 PM
You had a prom date?

In a manner of speaking.
At that time I was a prodigy drunk.
Started drinking for real at the tender age of 15 ( truthfully)
Hung out with people much older than myself.
Girl I took to the prom was, in fact, two years older than I.
( my first real status symbol)
Anyway, we got fried before the dance itself ( incidentally went to
a parochial-CAtholic- high school).
When we showed up at the dance itself, our group was already halfway
in the bag.
After a bit, in a crowded room, we started to dance to a slow number.
Room was warm, crowded and the drinks themselves got to me.
To sum up, during the dance, I got sick all over the girl I was with.
Not to be undone, after a long meaningful pause, she got sick on me.
The score was I get sick on her twice, she gets sick on me once.

Afterwards.
People in charge of dance threw us all out.
Over a hundred people today have very good memories of my and their
Prom night.

FAst ps, I became a problem drinker, plus experimentation with various
items.

Have been "clean" for over 25 years, except for Big Macs

billrobertson42

I like the happy ending.

I can also attest that Big Macs are a habit to kick.

bicc39
08-16-07, 02:59 PM
Big Macs vs cocaine.

1. One is cheaper than the other.
2. One is more available than the other ( depending on location)
3. One comes with flavoring
4. Both have dealers with same sense of personal hygiene.
5. Ronald has worked with both.
6. Rehab for one is 28 days.
7. Both produce a feeling of elation.
8. One stains clothing.
9. Both are available in drive thru's.

This is by no means encouraging children to try Big Macs.

Bill....for your own safety/sanity....it's best you don't......stay away from bicc's mystery meat/cheese/mouse dropping snicker's bar and you'll come to understand that the less you know the better. Something like that anyways.

I just happen to have a pile of dead fly's out of the windowsill in my garage.
fly pile.jpg (http://javascript%3Cb%3E%3C/b%3E:zb_insimg%28%27133233%27,%27fly%20pile.jpg%27 ,1,0%29)
Perhaps a trade?

I also have a box of cat. My Wife had a cat cremated a couple of years ago and I ran into the box of ashes still sitting in the garage. Now this was no ordinary cat. Perhaps you could sell it at your upcoming sale and we could split the money?

You don't have any Voodoo Practitioners in your neighborhood do you? I think they use animal remains. Might get a lot for the complete ashes of a a cat?

bicc39
03-16-09, 12:16 PM
beans, gas, dead flies, am sensing a theme.

( forgot, excellent fly, also a family pet?)

Blaine91555
03-16-09, 04:34 PM
Yes Bic, we keep a small herd of fly's around the house. They take care of themselves and help clean up the odd pile of organic matter. Alas due to the hard financial times we will be forced to part with a few.

The cat is an afterthought as the ground is frozen for a few more weeks and it would be way to much trouble to bury the ashes. Perhaps I should mix them with some super-sculpy and create a tribute?

The fly's gotta go though. Heat bills to pay. They will be emerging in large numbers shortly and I think I can get rid of many of them and still have a viable herd for the future.

I leave the Cat herding to my Wife who is far more patient than I. No matter how hard I try I can't get one of the worthless little beasts to fetch the paper off the porch. Eat, sleep and soil the litter box, that is all they do. It's like having an In-Law over who just won't leave or get a job.

Hey take some time. Train those flies, you never know. http://www.iditarod.com/

Blaine91555

Looks like Mackey this year unless something happens.

On topic -

Yes, I suppose the fly's could be trained to do something useful, but is it worth the time. Just about the time you get one trained it fly's off to blow eggs into some pile of rotting meat and you are forgotten.

Possible career moves for fly

1. Hedge fund manager.
2. Investment department at AIG
3. Realtor.
4. Sell mortgage backed securities.

Starts off with career prerequisite. Buzzs around crap.

Blaine91555
03-20-09, 06:37 PM
I would not feel right if I did not stop by and thank you Bic.

On your suggestion I submitted a resume to AIG on behalf of one of my more astute Fly's. Seeing no reason to think small, I went for an Executive Officers post and Arnold Fly, CFO was born. He of course quit before showing up for his first day on the job and we are now eagerly awaiting the 3 million dollar bonus promised in the initial contract. Even after the 90% tax rate that's still fair compensation for the trouble.

Arnold is not stopping there however and we will soon be contacting the White House to inquire about a possible Cabinet Post suitable for his talents. Perhaps something in the FDA? Our hopes are high. I'm sure an invitation to appear on the Tonight Show is just days if not hours away.

bicc39
03-22-09, 06:22 PM
According to the Attorney General of Connecticut, the fly's bonus
was actually 3,500,000.
Supoena's will be issued to fly's cousin, his wife, his children.
Protestors will march on his lawn.
His name will be published and vilified by the Atorney General of New York.
He will be made to testify.

His crime.....
70 hours work weeks, including Holidays, weekends, anniversaries, kids birthday,Christmas, etc, etc.
Buying Tums in the economy size.
Answering for mistakes he had nothing to do with.
Testifing before a group of dishonest, lying, two faced sons of bitches
that would not know how to survive in the private sector

Having to keep his emotions in check while some of his employees are:
1. Lying to him.
2. Relatives of people he has to be nice to.
3. Doing a totally inept job costing thousands, but can't be fired because
they are in a position where they know how the hole was dug and only
they know the way around without a miners hat.

Wow!!! got carried away there for a minute, have been updating my resume,
don't know how I will survive with a salary under six million.;)

(Edit: don't know the people in question at AIG, but do the people at
Merrill. Amounts that you are reading about are out of hand. But this
is the way it has been on Wall Street for at least thirty years that I know
of. What hasn't been mentioned is that some of these people are friends
of people high up in industry. If they quit, get fired, leave, their friends
and millions of dollars go out the door with them. So you are in effect paying
someone a million but keeping 5 million in earnings)

about that garage sale........
