Greetings,

Can anyone explain this z-sphere behavior? I was careful
to keep the z-sphere model symmetrical. I was expecting a more symmetrical cone shape, but it appears the adaptive skin is somewhat squashed?? http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200304/user_image-1050038326sud.jpg

i think the problem you see comes from the fact that zsperes are based on cubes, so have 6 sides symmetry, so in top view for example you have 2 symmetries, x and y, thus 4 directions, but your cone has in top view only 3 directions.
you always need to think of the "cube within the zspere", then you will not get sqashed meshes.
hope that helps.

Yes I realized this after posting the image.

I added 6 z-spheres and I got the results I was looking.
Sometimes it seems I realize an answer to my question after I post. Maybe I have some
form of 'brain lag' ;)
