My first picture here!
I have been working on a series of classical garden ornaments and structures, and decided to play around with lion heads and gargole/grotesque faces in zbrush. I like this one, but wish it was sharper and more detailed, though the way it turned out does look like a very old and worn stone piece.
This was rendered in Poser (not the best renderer, but I like it).
The plaque was a quick rhino job, and I did just a wee bit of water splash in post work, so guess this is a mixed medea

I like the coloring and texture and the worn look....I was reminded that sometimes less is better....and i think this is the case for you here....it has that antiquated stone henge/ monoliths of easter island feel to it....ver nice....

Very nice! There's no mistaking what it is, and as has already been said the texturing and modeling are excellent. I just wish that the render was lit with a better blend of highlights and shadows to bring out all those great-looking edges!

thanks for the encouragement everyone :)

Aurick, yes, the lighting is not the best, in fact it is the nasty Poser default lighting, bleah! Ah yes, but the was a reason for that bit of insanity :) I was planning to turn it into a poser prop freebie, and nothing upsets a poser user more than to have a goodie previewed with an image from a better renderer. It looks MUCH better brought into ZBrush!!
If anyone would like the .obj, you can get it at http://cresswells.com/graphics/poser1/ in just a couple of moments

Looks just like a fountain we had in the "maze garden" at an estate when I was young.
Was spooky there as it is here.
Welcome Pam - excellent modeling and Z work!
