Hi all,

I am ,as alot of you know, a mapper for a mod for UT2003, Junglewarfare...

Anyways I am interested in doing my own mod and I want to make some of the charictors in ZBRUSH ....

My first question is :
Is there any way to have more than 1 skin for a mesh? in UT2003 there is a way to have up to 8 diffrent textures (skins) for the charictor models...,

I suck at UV mapping realy bad, and breaking down the model into multiple textures would be a godsend...

Right now I have a way to do it useing Milkshape to assign all the textures to the mesh for importing....

What I realy want to do is have all the textures on the model at the same time so I can paint seamlessly on them, and match up the colors perfectly. at work I have DEEP3d wich lets me have more than 1 texture, skin, material ,ect.. but I realy dont like useing it... all my models come outlooking like I use craola crayons to paint the skin..

My zbrush stuff comes out pretty good (in my opinion and that is all that matters LOL)

I realy like the way i can bake on shadows, and paint with 3d objects and textures.. OMG this list can go on forever... I like ALL of zbrushes features over DEEP3d...

well also I am haveing some problems getting the models from milkshape to UNreal2003... has somebody else found another method of importing them from ZBRUSH to UT2003.... I mean charictor models... getting static meshes from ZBRUSH to ut2003 is a breeze with milkshape....the charictormodels (and all animated meshes in general) are what I am haveing problems with....

I own ZBRUSH, Milkshape, Lightwave, Lithunwrap, DEEP3d (well have access to it at work), BLender, Wings 3d, AC3d, Gmaxx, and Bryce... But I am not agenst buying new software to support my hobby... I realy want to get thease animated charictors ingame and if it takes money to get them ingame I am willing to pay... so please , if anyone has information on this let me know...

also MAYA ple dosent work on my system... I have already tried that rought..

well thanks for reading this...

Currently, ZBrush only supports 1 texture per model. Here's hoping that will change in a future version. hint...hint. ;)

I'm not sure if it'll help with what you are looking for, but have you taken a look at Anim8tor? Maybe you could do your animated meshes with that.
