Up from the bowels of hell, or from some roadside construction.

Man, that is nice! You can almost feel the heat and smell the fumes!!! :tu: :tu: :tu:
The eye even looks hot...!
You are giving me some great ideas, Ken, and your execution is so clean...Nice to see you following the 'Alpha' highway too, and you seem to be mastering the density control.
I always look forward to your pieces!

Have you visited the asphalt lakes in Trinidad? they are supposed to be one of the wonders of the world. I can visulize this creature rising out of the tar and having viewers emitting fluids and solids from all their orifices. Very, very nice image.

Some of the finest texturing I see on the boards, Ken, is yours. Always a pleasure to view your art.
Thank you all...
The tar was a modified material (basic, as I recall) but as usual, seemingly "simple" tasks such as getting that tar look and feel took much experimenting with the materials and lighting. It's difficult to light a very dark material.
I'm learning scripting through the weekly lessons so I'll be able to share them.
I've never even heard of the asphalt lakes in Trinidad. That sounds incredibly cool! Put that on the list of places to visit.

'Nice' monster thing! :) The glistny skin is awsome, and the putrid stench you somehow made Zee put in the steam is cool... :tu:

Outstanding work... to me this evokes emotional struggle. I know it is a creature, but I also see a person feeling stuck and trying to break free. Excellent presentation!
I've felt this way before, probably why it hits the spot! Thanks for the inspiration!
Hats off! :D :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:
Argh! I missed this!
Fabulous.
