Hello all,
I have downloaded the demo, the tutorials and the movie tutorial. Now I'm searching the MOVIE button to load it, but cannot find one in the interface.

My second question is : How do I behave to move an entire object I have created? Here it is a simple sphere with some "holes" in it. I found out how to move a part of it (a hole), but the entire thingy???

Thanks for help :)

First, I believe that the answer to your second question will best be answered in this thread: Why Can't I Edit My Object Anymore? (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=000041)

Now for the movie question. There is a Movie palette, and you can open it by clicking its icon from the group of them at the top center of the screen. There are a lot of other palettes available to you there, too -- any time a palette is closed from one of the two sides, its icon goes back up there so that you can get to it again if you need to. Once you have the Movie palette open (it normally appears on the left side of the screen once you've clicked the icon), you can use it to load a movie.

However, the ZMovie tutorials have been kind of antiquated by ZScripts, and are a holdover from the "bad old" pre-version 1.23 days. ;) ZScript tutorials are also available from Pixologic's ZScript Library, this site's QuickLinks forum (you'll see the hyperlink for it in the upper right corner of every page at ZBC), and several also come with ZBrush. These last are located in the ZScripts subdirectory, wherever you installed ZBrush to on your hard drive -- that's the same place that you should save any downloaded scripts to.

ZScripts come in several forms. Some are utilities such as TextureMaster or the MaterialList, which expand the functionality of ZBrush. Some are recorded sessions by a "master", which you can then play back to actually see how the experts work. The final kind of script is an actual tutorial, which goes into detail about some part of ZBrush. All you have to do is play one, and you'll see why the movies just aren't done much anymore!

A great script tutorial to start with is one that comes with ZBrush. It's called the ZBrush_Picnic, and takes you step by step through the creation of an entire scene using a bunch of techniques.

To run any ZScript, open the ZScripts palette (it's also in that group at the top when you first start ZBrush), and then click that palette's Load button. It will open the ZScripts subdirectory, and let you select whatever script you want to run.

Enjoy, and welcome to the wonderful world of Z!

Thanks Aurick for your answer. I will follow all your suggestions and see what I get out of it.

I wish I had a movie palette on my screen. I feel very dummy :( , but cannot find any. Can you help me once more please? Here is a screenshot from the upper part of my interface. The demo is v 1.23.

Yhanks so much :) http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1015090571fwn.jpg
