Greetings,
For some reason, ZBrush does not recognize FOLDER aliases in it's open/save dialogs. (I CAN see file aliases.) This is the only Mac application I know of that behaves this way. This is a serious bug IMHO.
F'rinstance...
I normally put an alias to my "Studio" folder in my graphics apps' folders, so that I can "jump" to a project easily when opening/saving files. It's also very helpful to be able to alias the zScript folder in a project folder for loading scripts.
As it's working now, I have to navigate to my desktop, then dig down to my destination folder. Kind of a pain. :(
I don't remember this being broken in version 1.13, because I just looked in my ZBrush 1.13 folder, and I DO have a folder alias in there. However, I just launched 1.13, and the alias doesn't appear in the open/save dialog box there either.
I don't see how this could be system related, but I HAVE changed some things around since my first ZBrush installation. (new drive partitions, external HD, Mac OS X 10.1, etc)
Can I get confirmation of this "bug" from some other Mac ZBrushers?
Thanx,
