Could someone point me in the right direction? I think I remember quite some time ago that there was a tutorial or something that helped teach you how to combine objects into 1 object for further modeling and detail.

For instance:

I have a sword handle that is partially finished.

I have a sword blade that is partially finished.

Lets say I feel I'm done with it.

Then I want to combine the sword blade and the handle together as one object. Then later be able to model the sword handle and the sword blade as a whole single unit.

Anyone?

p.s. thx everyone.

There are two methods of combining objects that you can use.

one found here

Topic: Tutorial: ZBrush Axe Prop (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000042)

And a bunch of more information is available on the use of the MagicMarker tool in the quicklinks as well.

Hope this helps

You can also create complex objects using the Multiple Marker tool. There is a tutorial here (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=001542) for a way to do that, and even to have symmetry.
