Jibberish--JJwow--Saint--Ron--ALL You guys can really draw...all this art reminds me of the "teachers" in those how to books--I mean that as a compliment--here are some o' mine--mostly drawn for Powerlifting USA magazine -- http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1010171250rdr.jpg http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1010171277sjh.jpg

Wow you guys are great! The above sketches just confirm my thoughts....... There is no substitute for talent :) ....... I need a ruler to draw a straight line! You all, transferred your styles form paper to ZB beautifully!
Great pics everyone. Here are a few of the pistures I have drawn. :) some are good & :( some are bad.
The first is just a beast with a temper http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1010240508nza.jpg
The second is a skull headed dude with a match http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1010240930iyx.jpg
The third and forth have been on here before but they are two goodies - acouple of black and white flash sheets I drew http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1010241147hdh.jpg
I hope you like them.

Syco, your art is wonderful! I especially like your black and white "flash sheets." Beautifully done! :tu: :tu: :tu:
Once upon a time, my talents with pencils and paintbrushes was nearly as good. But sometime during high school I changed from one art to another (writing); I must say, your work almost makes me wish I hadn't!
Great stuff!

never heard of white flash sheets....out of my own ignorance, can you define what they are....and I love your sketches....very occultish...
I have nothing to contribute to this thread, unless you'd get some good comic relief from the stick figures that are my best possible 2D output. But I just wanted to compliment all of you on your talent. Some of these drawings are really astounding -- and the worst of them is still better than I could do. :tu:

dont feel bad aurick its been along time since ive drawn anything on paper... i forgot alot of what i learned in high school art class... thanks for you comment
Flash sheets that I spoke about are referring to tattoo artist pics that hang from their studio walls. If you have ever been in a tat studio you would know what I mean. They are ,for all that don't know, pics from which you can choose one or a collection or a combination of art to get put on your skin - used as a starting point or guidlines for the piece you are having inked. :tu: :D

Hey ron that is what I like to see - people goning for the most painful spot (like a head) to be tatt'd first.Good on ya - and good luck-LOL

hey all,
well, since i was the one who started this thread, i thought it'd be good if i commented on everyone's excellent work.
Ron, great ideas and increadible detail on the octopod thingy. that Big Suit would look awesome if you did him in Zbrush.
Doc, great work! you did some really great scetches in high school.
Saint and Robo, awesome pictures. i'm not surprised at how either of you draw. it's just like your Zbrush art!
syco, great coloring on that purple monster. that scull dude is really cool too. awesome staff and smoke. and the black and white flash sheet is totally amazing.
dob, you have some terrific perspective scetches (i guess that's what you would call them). i've never been able to get stuff like that to work right.
anyway, i'll see ya'll later...thanks for sharing all your drawings and scetches with everyone here at ZBcentral. See ya'll 'round.

Here are a couple of mine:
A couple of elements from this image made it's way into "The Spell" for this one:
http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1005488670dxx.jpg
I touched up a part of the neck a little in ZBrush, since I realized I had originally made the neck too thick. I haven't tried portraying a crying character before, so I tried it with this one.

This one will probably become a ZBrush Image eventually. "Snow White and The Seven Samurai - Let's Go Kick Some Evil Queen Butt!!":

Wow! Some fine pencil work here. Your talents speak for themselves. Personally, I enjoy comic book art tremendously - so this thread is something of a treat for me. :)
Here's one I did back in '92. 2B pencil on Beinfang paper. I hadn't looked at in years, but dug it out, scanned it and smoothed it a little in Photoshop, just to take the scan-edge off...

Some very good drawings here. Makes me want to dig out the pencils and paper. Hope to see more posted!
Richard and Ron,
Thanx for the kind words my friends I really appreciate them. Yeah, I have to say that of all the artistic things I do pencil would be the best (I love the degree of control you get, though I'm starting to get pretty decent in airbrush now after years of ignoring it). I moved into Zbrush stuff earlier this year and while not as proficient yet as I'd like, I can honestly say that of all the 3D packages out there (I've tried most) Z yields the most immediate and rewarding results.
Recent pencil stuff? Hmm. I'll have to look, though my most recent pencil excursions have been to illustrate a role-playing game I'm writing (I'm gonna use Zbrush for some of the more complicated Player Races) so I'll see if I can find any new pencil stuff.
~a.
oh, here's a (relatively) recent "pencil/colored pencil/airbrush/photoshop touched-up" thing. The character (though only partially completed)should be obvious...
http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1011074689dbj.jpg
I have hundreds of things like this... drawings, sketches, pen and ink stuff... if Zbrush weren't so addicting I'd spend more time with the pencil, but, you know...

Nice painting, shall we call him "Jaws"

now look what you'v done, you opend a pandora's box..
most of whats here is no more than 3 weeks old.. i apologise for the quality but they were photographed with an olllld pc cam at night time..
By The Way, my "talent" is in sculpting.. but unfourtunantly sculptures can't be digitalized.. well, they can but in very very bad quality (its nothing like feeling it with your own hands).
