Likewise, the zipfile integration that comes with Windows these days says your file's corrupt.

Havent you just got the normal .zip thingy?
Well you need stuffit expander not winzip (i use a mac and i dont know what winzip is)

Winzip is the normal zip thingy! At least on Windows. Stuffit is the standard app on Mac but Stuffit and Winzip do the same thing (more or less)
So either the file is corrupt or you have added the wrong extension (did you change the file name?) the default compression format for stuffit is .sit
