In the Zbrush demo where Pixolator models the angler, at one point he stops modelling the fish and creates spheres for eyes, then performs some kind of action so that he can goes back to modelling the fish again. What was this action and how was that done? It is my understanding you can only model one thing at a time, and once you leave that model, you can never come back to modelling it again in the same scene.
I think he must have used markers but I'm a ZB newbie so I could be wrong.

I haven't been able to view it yet cuz so far everytime I download it the file gets corrupted somehow either by my computer or somewhere, who knows, but anyway I believe I read somewhere they are added in or while in projection master. Try viewing some scripts on using pm and see if there is something in there that shows the how-to's.

yes, that was the magic of PM (projection master).
I just tried it myself, so I know it works.
dig a hole (ALT+std is 1 way) and enter PM. The magic part is that you are in 2.5d mode, so you got depth.
create a sphere and drop it in the hole, makeing sure that it's not just over the hole, but actually in it.
now exit pm. normalized option is important, so do tests. My best results were with 'normalized off' so it was pure projection from my view.
the same method can be used for bevels, shape extrustions, cuts, veins, scars, the list goes on and on. all depends on how you use zbrush.
