se pueden mejorar algunos detalles como las
orejas...
saludos amigo :D
hi avmics!
i consider the male model to be ubber...
due to the proportions and anatomy.
Some inaccurate parts maybe included:
the knees need to be clarified, the feet and hands seem to be too tiny.
the dorsal mussle structure - the back might be hell to modell?! though its seems to be
pretty right and thats what i like most about this model - when it comes to the details...I would like to know which reference material you used!
all these monsters and aliens just get bored...this is impressive

I'm very impressed!
Crits:
Definition of muscles in the back of the neck and the lower back is probably needed.
Alan.
thanks, muchas gracias
I will work on the areas you indicated

Here are some updates
As a result of increasing the resolution on parts of the face and body the edge of the divided areas generated creases. Does anyone have suggestions re how to fix this?

Loks good. The hands and feet are still too small. You can easily double the size of the hands. If you make the wrists proportional it will be easier to make the hands to fit. Feet als are a bit to small.
A major prblem with the head is the size and position of the ears. In general the ear will stretch from the corner of the eye to the corner of your mouth for a person in their thirties. (Ears never stop growing)
Other then that it looks great.

I would have to agree with Octo...look in the mirror and you can see the placement of your own ears. I also agree with the bigger hands and feet. Lookin good though....I am currently working on some full figures myself, so I feel your pain and anxiety of creating. Practice pays off though. Don't get frustrated with your work and have fun. The best way to learn.
Ron
ps. Question...just out of curiosity are your two models African Americans( or whatever the PC term of the day is..so forgive me on that)? They seem to have that flare to their faces to me. Not a critique, just a question on that for my own curiosity. thnx..
Octogoogles - thanks for the comments I will work on them.
Ron - thanks for the comments these are the first few models I've generated in ZBrush so I'm still learning. The faces are caucasian.

Nice work overall. I agree with the other comments. In addition the front/side neck muscles need some attention. In the face-on pic it appears that his neck is wider at the top and narrows towards the shoulders--which isn't right.

As it is now she would be a good zombie in resident evil. Just speaking of the face. That was the first thing I saw when I looked at it. A RE zombie. Its cool.

well, i'm no expert so take all my suggestions w/a grain of salt:
1. the torso (chest/abs/back)is well done w/a alot of detail. that's great, but i feel like the extremity ( arms/legs ) don't seem to be quite as detailed. not saying they're not good, but the difference in detail seems to throw the whole look of imho.
2. the torso is also pretty thick compared to the legs and arms...looks a little weird to me.
3. as far as the head: it's a bit hard to tell as your last post didn't have any close ups, but the ears still look a bit too high on the head. octo and ron harris were right, the ears should start at the corner of the eye and end at the corner fo the mouth roughly.
4. the shape of the eyes ( based on the last post of close ups ) is off. human eyes don't look like a letter 'D' on it's back. and i also think they are too close together. in general, your eyes are about one eye-width apart ( should be the size of your nose from the edge of one nostril flare to the other ). long story short: the eyes are too big and the wrong shape.
5. lastly, the ears def. need more detail. again, look at a friend's ear or better yet, photgraph your friend's ear from a few different angles. it'll make a great modeling ref.
the hands and feet def look better to me now. good progress. keep it up. btw, if you want to learn about the general guidelines of what a human head looks like and it's proportions, i personally love Burne Hogarth's book "Drawing the Human Head". hope this helped.

if you have an external 3d program by all means add details there first... eyelids for example, you should not just try and make by stretching polys in zb, they will look wavy and weird... also triangles got in your mesh and caused all sorts of distortion, I don't know if that's fixable, you should work without any triangles... and lastly, don't oversculpt in zbrush... simple clear details are good, many unclear ones are not
really good~
can you post me your Zsphere structure?
i wanna know how your Zsphere gose with.
Here is the zsphere structure I used for both models.
