View Full Version : A Lovely Spot
This is another of my hybrid images. Most of it was created using Vue D'Esprit. I liked it a lot, so based on what Ron and others commented regarding hybrid images I decided to bring it into ZBrush and add the gulls and fish, and another render. I hope you like it as much as I do sharing it with you.

 thats excellent Joe. :tu: your water is awesome, and It looks very good. The only problem I can see is a JPG error around the gulls. Incredible.... everything. :)

That is very spectacular Joe! Those palms are glorious. I think though that the birds have a bit too much dark outline around them...perhaps a change in the diffuse graph of the material. Very very nice!
Thanks for the input guys it is greatly appreciated. I magnified up to 7 times and removed the black around the gulls pixel by pixel, so I hope it is now OK.

Wonderful job Joe. This is a very beautiful piece. Hybrid images can be the best sometimes...
Are you going to make more?
Thanks Mike. I would really like to, unless the folks at Pixologic say I cannot. I do not know why they should though, as so many members use Poser and other programs along with ZBrush.

Nice landscape , Joe.
The birds look a lot better without the black outline.
Maybe add something on the big rock in the front , a mermaid maybe :)

Another excellent variation on a familiar scene, Joe. And it's amazing what a difference removing the black bird outlines has made - I didn't think it was that bad on the first version, but the difference really tells on #2. And I bet those fish in the right foreground are headed straight for Ron's bait just out of frame... :tu: :D :tu:

Thanks again to all those who took time to view and comment on this image. It is my aim to produce images like this using ZBrush only, until that time I will just have to continue practicing.
DeeVee,
Joe.
great work, very well done :tu:
You seem to be getting along well with Vue DeeVee. I think you will soon make it your own as you introduce your painting skills to add your individuality into the scenes. Nice going. :tu: :tu: :tu:
