Hello! long time no post, and I see a lot here of new z2 great works!... super! for me, I'm working on the cg talk challenge, and, as Frenchy pilou has put the link, maybe some of you have seen these pictures... but these ones are pure zbrush picture, the three for modelling, of course, and two of them, the guy with canon and the one with machine gun, are also full rendered in z2... great options, these cavity!... friendly.M. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200405/user_image-1085504893pmk.jpg

Great images!
I'm curious though; in the 3rd image of your 1st post, you've blended the metal material smoothly into the flesh material of the arm. Have you done that on the original 3d tool, or have you blended the 2 materials together once you've stamped him onto the canvas?
Cheers,

mestela,
I too was wondering about marcel's wonderfully blended materials.
I think you nailed it: "blended the 2 materials together once you've stamped him onto the canvas"
If you check Marcel's last image you can see the repositioned model without post blending.
thank you for kind words!!! :) curious, you're right: there is a lot of work "after" the 3d step... once in 2,5, or pixols if you prefer, yopu can "post work" a lot...but you can't "turn" the object! if you get a glance at the 2 first renders, which are in 2,5, it's obvious that the have, for example in th skin, a lot more "information", dur to the great possibilities of the pixols... one of the strenghth of zbrush... but it's necessary to be sure of the position, as you can't move further the model!...
