:) Hello! these are pictures mixing zbrush and other softs; rhino for object modelling, amapi, and carrara for render; i'm going to post next pure zbrush picts, but here i exported the z mesh as obj, being textured with text master; as you see, it mix withgout any problem, the only thing difficult is to match the imprecise texturing in other softs with ztools textured by texture master: for example, in the little dwarf in "bird'sjail,"(don't know the word  )the wall, the ground, and of course the dwarf, come from zbrush, to have precise texture; Friendly M. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200305/user_image-1053111782dmk.jpg

Excellent as always friendly M! Great use of all those programs! The renders still have your distinct style no matter the program... Great work! Inspirational to me!
Take care,
Michael

Fast and excellent Marcel, as usual.
One question: have you had a problem with the density mesh in the other software about the dwarf?
I use Lightwave but when the mesh is very high detailed i have many problems about refreshing.
Your image is very clean i don't see the problem about texture....(in Lightwave i have this problem most of the time)

marciani, thank you! when exported meshes are "zbrush heavy", it begins to happen problems: moving the scene becomes difficult, open gl goes strange... in carrara, it stays ok,but slower and slower; usually i keep all the import from z at the end, trying to solve all the problems of the scene before; once, but it is tricky, i've first exported a very reduce meshes, just to regule the light and so on, like a sort of "double star", in movie; then deleted, then the good, but heavy one...i've no problem with the exported texture, they match perfectly; what i means is esthetic:when you have a character from zbrush, textured very precisely by text master, and he has in hand say a shield, and you texture that shield in procedural way, it always seems, how to say, "naive", not really realist, cause texture master is so precise "writing"; in dino box, the "box" is textured in carrara, but i paint after in photoishop all the little dirty things around the screws, to have the same feeling than the dino... Amitiés Marcel

Very fine finish to all these caged masterpieces, Marcel. The dwarf in the jar is my fave. :tu: :tu:
