View Full Version : Going Home
This is an exercise using a little of a lot of different things.
Just a slight departure from sand and sea.

THIS is a welcome sight for both the traveler and the viewer.
Nice change of pace. I can smell the wildflowers! :tu:

i like this one a lot - from the fantastico tree in front to the house back there... the lack of shadows give it that midday heat when the birds and even the buzzers are quiet and the only sound comes from her steps - very peaceful, hot and making me wish to go with her to get a drink :)

... and a very nic departure it is, Joe. Things I most like: the tree, the flowers (especially those on the left), the path and the overall composition. Good work.

Lovely work -wonderful color-textures and "story" :tu: :tu: :tu:
Once again thanks for the comments.
The large tree on the right was done using my script which is available in the QuickLinks. The main trunk and branches were done on a separate layer first and then the premade leaves and branches applied using the DragRectangle and 3DPlain. these were oriented to the position that was most pleasing. The side trees were spraybrushed on from previously made leaves and branches. the flowers were done the same way. For the road I used my old friend the fiberbrush.
The wall was done with the dragrectangle from a premade texture,
I hope the above helps.
If anyone is interested in any of the leaf types I can email it to them.
I will be off island for a few days starting on Tuesday the 3rd. so you will most likely get them on my return.

Joe
