View Full Version : Another Volcano View
This is another in the volcano series.
Most of it was done with the Spraybrush, the sky and foliage were done using my usual method. It was when I was trying to get the small rubble on the mountain side that the program crashed.
I was able to salvage it by saving very often.
An image using the spraybrush for painting has a unique three dimensional look which is quite different.

Excellent! The spray brush technique works exceedingly well in these volcanic shots. :tu: :tu: :tu:
I also find extensive use of the spray stroke, irrespective of brush size, regularly crashes the program. Like you, I've learned to save often - but it's easy to forget in the heat of the moment, as I've discovered to my cost several times over the last few days experimenting.
Thanks FC. I do not think another brush would give this effect. I am planing to use is on pebble beaches. It should look different, and give it a textured look.
The volcano in the backround looks amazing! For a second I thought it was a photo backround  :D :D :D

The trees in the forground don't match the photo of the volcano in the background. Try a higher anti-aliasing setting.
chicko36. Thanks for your observation, It is appreciated. This volcano was viewed from miles away through a telephoto lense, because I wished to see the detail on the side of the mountain. The trees are in the garden of the house from which it was viewed. I used my option to create it as I wanted to remember it.
DeeVee, great job! Your foliage and skies are the best and now these volcanos look soo 3D!! :D :tu: :tu: :tu:
Wenna thank you. The new spraybrush was used to create the volcano. I think it performed adequately. However as you might have read, we did experience a few problems.
