Hello everybody:
This is Arturo Balseiro, I´m a FX make up artist that have been using zbrush from 2 years now. This is my first work on the zbrush 3. Amazing posibilities for creature/character design.
This is an old wizard, that has lose his magical powers. And now he is forced to wear a "noise helmet" to announce his presence. Not powers now, but keep been "Maquiabelic".
I´m thinking about the idea that make him deformed with a contagious problem and the people forced him to wear the noise helmet to insolate him from the rest of the citizens, so maybe i will desfigure him.

Funny story behind the design, I needed a background for this work.

He reminds me of my favorite movie Merlin, Nicol Williamson in Excalibur

SalmonGod, you're right about that! Nicol Williamson is the reason Excalibur is one of my favorite movies.

This is REALLY nice! I love it!

one question though
- How did you make the hair? Painted in Photoshop or is there some sort of hair-plugin in the new Zbrush?

I toke and old mesh that I had for a feature film, unused and I refined more today, hope you like it. I will try to textures it soon.
