View Full Version : Sad old man?
Hi this is my first attemp to do a Zsphere model.... took me about 90 min to get the mesh, but way longer to render it "proper" :)

2 words: very good.
I like it a lot. Are you thinking about pushing it further or keeping it where it is? Either way, at this point it looks sensational.
you're on your way to becoming an excellent Zbrusher!
last thing; maybe some shots from different angles? and what's your poly count looking like?

wigal, your second try is simply perfect :tu:
(maybe, If I may: more wrinkleZZ??)
Thank you for the nice comments guys!!!
Polycount: 104000 Faces
I'd love to add more wrinkles, but since i couldn't get displacement to work with mental ray, i had to export the hires Mesh to Maya, and for more and smaller wrinkles i'd need to go a division higher, which kills my machine...
so for now, more of the gary's game style...
cheers
ok, here are two different angles....
i'm not going to continue on him. It was just ment to be a test, as you can see, the back head and the ears could use some more time :)

Great job Wigal.
Were the materials, lights and rendering done in ZBrush or only te modelling?
If it was done in ZBrush would you be willing to share the material and lighting setup?
Brian
Sorry Brian, lighting and material is all done in Maya...
cheers
Did some additional testing with displacement maps in Maya and Normalmaps...
