good start. Really pay attention to anatomy and HOW a character moves. This produces better conceptual poses and construction. Don't be afraid of going up in subdivision but don't go up too fast.

I agree. Also, think about weight distribution. I know that seems odd but its something that the subconscious identifies and thats why a model can look wrong but you can't figure out why.
Felina8,
It appears you have two threads about the same subject, since I don't see a difference in the images. At any rate, its always good to see more folks here the better. As for your image, I tend to agree with others about structure. Its so nice with monster creations to take liberties however its also helpful to make them more believeable if they have a structure that makes it convincing. Keep working hard and looking forward to more.

One word...
Pumpkinhead.
I think it's one word...anyway... Look at his structure.
Now look at yours. Its easy to ask yourself and see...if it were a real toy and you were to stand it up..would it stand?
Hope that helps too.
As for double post, no worries Lad.
We all have done it once before.
