Worked at texturing adding details to the base texture - getting pretty good mileage out of that ham skin texture. I think I'll have to knock off using it, and move onto something else. maybe see what I can accomplish with ZB's resident materials and textures.
I'm thinking of modelling at least an upper body for this guy... Eek! Gonna have a go at a larger project; something more than just making noggins! :D http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1003174313vza.jpg

Great eye, and I love the backgound! :tu:
(Doesn't look like any ham I'd eat!)
Fine work! :tu: :D :tu:

Thanks stonecutter. I cheated on the background. Tried it in ZB, didn't like it so much, so I did it up in photoshop instead. All in all, it took less then five minutes - hmmmm... can we say "slapdash?" ;)

Hey Fila...just a thought and a suggestion...
I have Deep Paint 3D, which is a kick-ass app...I don't use it much anymore. What I do is create a background by filling it with a base color. I use the 'Flat Color' so that your background won't be affected by your lighting later. Then I paint on the background, with 'Zadd' turned off, and tweeking the 'RGB Intensity'. You can use blur brushes, and any other tools to get any effect you want. Then add layers as needed for your scene. If you stick with 'Flat Color', your background won't change. My 'Gentleman From Brazil' background was done using this method. I think anything you can do in a paint program of any kind, you can do within ZBrush with a little thought.
(Love this image, though!) :D :tu: :D

With modeling skills like this I'd say you that you are ready to graduate to body work. You should try some other lunchmeats also. How about olive loaf? I like this guy's expression " Oops, forgot to bring my lightning rod" :)
