If you use Firefox, you can also try the addon VideoDownloader (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/).

Great!
The greasemonkey script allows you to download videos with less compression artifacting. It's pretty cool, creates a link on the page for you. I haven't tried it in firefox 3. Last I heard the script hadn't been updated yet.

Latest edition of Real Player lets you download, keep in library, burn
to a dvd that can be played on a dvd player ( quality of "movie" less
than perfect".)
Once there you can then remove audio as separate entity.

Last week found a Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin duet done for
a tv show that I had been looking for for years.
Did all of the above.
