Marching Army

Here's a little scene i've been working on lately and thought it'd be cool to post it.

here's the soldier i made for the image. he's not that great, (he doesn't even have a left arm) but that's because i made him entirely out of a sphere except for his right arm and shield. just thought ya'll might want to see him.

Very cool jibberish. I like that soldier model. Seems to me you modelled what you needed to of him, and it works just fine :tu: :tu:

I agree with fil.

There are lots of times I don't model a whole piece, simply because the viewer will never see that which isn't on the canvas.

When I had my first look, I assumed his arm was behind the shield. ;)

Love the colors and fog of the environment, and the texture for your warrior is just great.

I never would have engaged in such a large-scale project, for fear of failure, but you pulled it off like a charm. congrats on your sense of depth, and don't you mind modelling Ztools, you're probably best off if you don't use them a second time :)

Nice picture Jibberish. The sense of depth where the army is really does give a sense of alot of people. I don't think the fact that the soldiers are a simple model makes a difference in a scene such as this. Looks great.
