After watching a Gnomon tutorial a few times this is what i have managed to come up with.
Used the supplied .obj with the dvd and only slightly changed its topology. My main aim was to see if i could texture properly. After ZB crashed on numerous occasions and i changed a few settings in preferences my 1.5 gig of ram managed to produce this little baby of which, for only my second go(my first one is of an octopus and is below rubbish in the pecking order of things) i am proud to have done.
Sure, its not my model and i followed a tutorial but rome wasnt built in a day and these dvd`s were released i guess for the novice in me as well as the experts that show there work on these boards. Top quality all by the way. The past few days and nights my jaw has hit the floor on more than one occasion......
anyways...enough of my babble..take alook..comments welcome on how i could improve things from modelling to performance etc..
ps...downloaded the lights and skin texture here and apologies for not naming as i simply cant remember
