Nemoriko,

Well decent start... the foundational shape of his contour looks pretty close. Overall I like it, however, I think some things could be changed or polished up. Firstly I dont care for the material used.. at all. Especially when the project calls for you to attempt to get as close as possible to the actual likeness of what Ray Harryhausen created. Adding more detail in the mesh would help like the bumpy warty skin on the torso/head and more fur like for the legs. Currently he has legs that look like bumpy texture of a rocky terrain or tree bark than fur. Legs could use a lil more work on the shape of the legs.. goats legs like Ray had em looked some what more bent at the joint.

I would say add more wrinkles.. and skin folds along neck and add other things on many areas but since its a WIP i'm sure you'll address more things.

Keep it up though its a very good start as I said and the majority of the shape contour wise looks good except maybe lil more bend near the joint of the legs. :tu:

Hhhmmmm, I agree with AngelJ. You have a rough sculpt start, that can be taken so much further. If your going to tackle an iconic monster like that, you are going to have to go the extra few miles. I did a cyclops recently based off a concept by Atwooki (see zsphere thread), but I never actually thought of tackling the Master's work. ;)
