Quick Question?

Ok, I am not sure if this can be done or not, but I haven't figured out why it can't. Anyway, I want to be able to take a Sphere and cut using the Cone 3D. Basically you would see the tip of the cone cut out of the sphere. I still want to be able to edit the sphere after. I have tried to MultiMark the tools and then perform a cut, but it doesn't seem to work. I may just have the sequence I am trying to do this out of order, but I can't figure it out. :confused:

ZBrush can't make polymeshes using booleans at the current time. If you make a polymesh from multi-marked objects, the polymesh tool reads everthing as if they were drawn on the canvas as if ZAdd was on.

The best thing to do now might be to use masking and a deflate or size deformer to get the shape you want.

You can however still use ZCut and ZAdd with non-polymeshed objects. Just make sure that the draw mode button is activated in the marker pallette, but I know this isn't what you are looking for since you want an editable mesh with a cone cut out of it.
