coming along pretty fine, methinks! i like the second one better (hehehe, more of them magic z-colors :D). i dont know anything about other apps, including bryce. but i think you imported a bryce-render as a .psd or .bmp to apply some z, not any 3d-objects, right? have you had a look at Pixolator’s famous alphacentury script (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=001312) yet? its very easy to create z-landscapes that way and you could experiment in 3d-space within minutes (including a smooth rendering with conforming lighting). just a suggestion! keep them coming and have z-fun!

thanks juandel.
Im going to take a look at that script as soon as I get a chance. The image was rendered in Bryce!
Anyway, keep them suggestions and comments coming!! :) :)

Well J.Woltz........you asked......
There are too many high points (irregular shapes) competing for attention.
The image appears to have a number of different perspectives.
Your composition uses warm colours wrongly....you can use them in this manner as long as there is contrast, or a balence in a different area.
Poser models are wooden lifeless things.
You have split the canvas in half.....use two thirds......thus adding depth to background or foreground.......there are ways around that rule as well, but would take too long to explain.
Try to work in 'threes' for shape/form/line/colour.......then break the rules.
Second one becomes to busy, no plan of colour or shape.
HOWEVER.........there is an underlying style here I find interesting......it just hasn't broken through properly.
Thank you ed!!
I appreciate all comments and I think I understand what your saying. Im still learning, and critisim and advice is an excellent tool to learn by.
by the way, I agree about the poser characters, I just wanted to incorporate people into my image. Thanks again!
