dob, another fine image...this is a game arena of sorts..you still havent given me the whole scoop on this theme....I love it nonetheless......and being yer number one fan, I only have on comment that I think might have an impact on the image...when I look at it I am immediately drawn to the red orbs on the stakes on the ground...I dont know whether that was your intent, but it keeps my eyes from the rest of the wonderful work and I think its just the glaring of the color and almost has 2d feel to it to me...maybe an emerald with some green lighting thrown up from those wonderful orbs....I am not dissing what you have done, coz ya know I love it...but that would be the only thing on my wish list to change in the pic....and you know me, more goopy clots of blood by the severed heads....here I am critiquing yer stuff when I do good to spell my own name...keep me posted....and btw..I left ya some comments and questions on renderosity too...

Ron thank you so much for your comments. I like to read your words :)

I agree with you on lights. But... I love to take risk :) I wanted to use them there... And "all i can do as lights" is this in ZBrush. Just now...

I don't know the way of placing a light source in picture directly. Or... If I could use volumetric lights believe me I would use it to enhance the ambience. It could be great to be able to use dust particles for example... But my knowledge is limited on ZBrush...

Also I'm waiting for the next release... Especially for "Indirect Illumination"

dr. jjwow, It's great to read your words too. Thank you :)

Oh, I forgot this and came back to edit my post!

Ron, there's no story to tell about gore series. I'm going to some place I don't know. My mind takes me to there. As you may see, those works are kinda abstract. :)

Neat image. :) Looking at it... I see the lights, shadows, colors... And many ways of looking at it overall. An intruiging composition. :tu:

another cool piece of doB :) i really like your style and the amount of detail you put in your works, especially the *bug and torus* thing, which seems to become a trademark.
i think i might have a possible approach for the volumic lights problem, it should be possible to mimick the effect with some fog, that's masked with an appropriate alpha, maybe plus some faint texture, the *noise* and *blur* modifiers in the alpha panel might even be able to produce pseudo-dust-particles ...
i played with that a bit, but didn't seriously try yet.

oh, and i have to agree, the pinkish glow doesn't quite fit, though i guess i understand what you were wanting to achieve.

great image, nevertheless.
