i have a problem with creating polymeshes. say i draw two tools that i wish to combine into a single polymesh tool. so i draw the two tools. then i size and position them (with Edit move/resize/rotate) where i want them to be. next i press the polymesh tool. but the polymesh turns out to be the two tools separated as if i hadn't moved or rotated them at all when they were all combined in the multi-marker tool. what am i doing wrong?

i hope someone knows what i'm talking about (i'm sure it's a little confusing) please help if possible

thanks

Make sure that you had 'Position' selected in the MARKER:MODIFIERS Palette when you placed your Markers. If you did not have this selected, then the Marker was not instructed to remember your object's location and orientation on the canvas.

'Afternoon Jibberish . . . :)

I see that ZuZu has already answered your question - Brilliant Lady that ZuZu. :D

If I may add a little to her comment: When using Markers, I always open my "Markers / Modifiers" & select all of the tabs, ( image below ), just to make sure I won't forget any during my project. The reason for this is = each one of the tabs represent that particular attribute of the object, your placing a Marker for. The Markers will remember everything about your object = size, position, color, Material, Texture etc., as long as you have that tab selected when you place the Marker. Also, make sure that you have the "MRGB" tab selected in the draw panel, before placing the Marker. This really makes everything so much easier. ;)

Have a good one . . . Mark.

I believe you also have to click the "Reposition Markers" button in the Multimarkers/Modifiers menu once you have change the position of your pieces in Multimarker edit mode.
