let me know what you think about this one its my first full body picture...image done in zbrush... http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1002775287svg.jpg
WOW Doc . . . :D
That is really a wonderful job you've done there bud. I'm very impressed, as I've never done a complete body yet. How many parts did you have to create for the complete body??? :)
I do have one question regarding the image though . . . what is it, that this being is holding or trying to lift??? Also, how did you blend the seams between the different parts of the being? And, did you make a "PolyMesh" object, or did you just make the model stationary? How ever you did it, it came out perfect! ;)
Now that your floating along so smoothly with ZBrush, I'm sure you'll be posting many more of the "Full Body" images, right? Heheheh. Can't wait to see the next one.
Have a good one Doc . . . Mark.

Is this the Rhinotaur of legend, guarding the treasure in the maze?
Sweet hands, arms, head, textures, etc.

thanks for your kind words on this picture... and kruzr... heres the you questions answered..
1. a.what is he trying to lift?
b. hes holding a homemade blade to ward off evil doers.
2. a.how did you make the smooth seems?
b.paiting over them
3. a. how many parts?
b. 5 the head, chest, arms, legs, hands(i could not make the hands myself so i relied on someone elses hands that i cant rem the name of right now...
4. a. did you make a polymesh tool out of picture?
b. nope sure didnt....
special tech used in this picture include.... after creating the head i placed another sphere right under the head tool and began to shape it into a body using the size of the head as my guide...next i created the arms. youll notice that the arms are seemless thats because there slightly behind the chest...to create the arms i used shere modified to look like a well... sort of like a arm ... same steps apply to doing the the legs... as i said before i dont really know how to do hands so i used someone elses hands that i cant rem.. the name of the artist....some help me out here....the problem is that i only had the right hand... but never fear i just created the hands in a seperate layer..dup. that layer and flipped it to make the a left hand..... im not going to explain how i did the background today because that would take all night..... and yes now that i have done a full body i plan to come up with some more ..... when i have time of course... thanks again... if you have any other questions about this image just ask... and ill answer....

one thing that i forgot to mention is.. when i connected the hands to the arms the model didnt come out right because i didnt model the arms to fit the hands, so i created the wrist bands to hide the seem.... just a tip

Congratulations on your creation. I think assembling a whole body is #1 on the list of difficult things to do. I really like the pools of light on that great background also :tu:
Nice work :tu: :tu:
Great modeling :tu: :tu:

He looks great for your first full body picture. I especially like the arms. I also like that you don't see any noticable seams where the pieces join. I've done a couple of full body images and used smear and blur on the seams, but haven't figured out how to hide the shoulder seams well. You did great in that area. The wrist bands were a great idea too. Good job :)
Brava!
Wow, that is an amazing example of skill and patience. Great attention to detail and technical expression.
