Just passing time ...

I tend to make deamons the whole time when I dont have any idea for a project/wip. So here's one of those "pass the time" demons :p

i'm glad you had nothing to do!!!!!!!it looks very nice, how did you do the fire on the background???? a tutorial about the demon would be nice! :D :D :D :D :D :D

The background was done in photoshop by using difference clouds.(reapplying the filter about 50 times) , upping the contract and messing around a bit with layer blendings.
The demon is a 3d sphere modeled in the same way like the modeling tutorials by pix that are available as zscripts. I'm sorry I didnt save the zscript for the demon , I should have done that.

pretty impressive for a pass time demon. what did you take for the skin material ? looks very good.

I took the trishader material for the skin. Pix posted it in some thread.
The skin was changed a bit in photoshop though by using faded out textures with overlay blending.
