Well this is the 3rd model in my personal drive to get some of my models that I've left half done to a stage 'approaching' final.
The thumb is still dodgy as hell, and past all attempts at redemption due to probs with the base mesh. The color map is 1/3 photo and 2/3 painted. There are some pretty serious issues with this sculpt in both rendering and sculpting but at the moment at least it looks partly finished (which is better than 'not finished at all' in my book lol.)
Modelled in Silo 2, retopped in topogun, textured and the finer details in zbrush. Rendered in mental ray using the SSS skin shader in 3d max. (All the maps color spec and 32bit disp are zbrush. I was also tempted to render it in zbrush but it needed the spec map to 'pop' unfortunately.) The post was just some compositing of the ambient occlusion pass and come color correction.
