Hello

I want to do a test to check the render of an object in 3DsMax. I've tried to export my file but all I get as choices are ZBrush file format.

How do I prep my object to make it into a file that will be usuable into a 3D programs like Max.

Thanks :qu:

Hello Piximia!! If u use a demo version of zbrush the test is impossible !!! :( but if not, u can export the zTool into obj format !! Get the max plug-in "obj to max" to import an obj file into a max scene!!! ;)
Hope that is helpful for you !!! :tu:

Okay thanks
Darn has any other people had the same problem I had?... I did ask for my permanent serial number last month or was that the month before (I wasn't able to dabble with Zbrush then) and put it in...but it EXPIRED!

So I put back the old number I had and it's been on that number ever since...
I'll probably have to re-email to get the REAL permanent number

But thanks for the Info
Guess it still thinks it's on trial >.<

Was the file that you used for the permanent serial number titled "Ulicense.zul"? That's the permanent serial number file that you need to use.

You should probably e-mail Aurick at matthew@pixologic.com

I've already replied to your email this morning.

The issue in your case here regarding Max has nothing to do with ZBrush "thinking it's a demo". The program doesn't act that way. It's very simply that ZBrush exports DXF or OBJ, and Max doesn't recognize either of those formats. However, the OBJ2MAX and MAX2OBJ plugins will allow the two programs to play nicely together. :)

Thanks for your help, everyone!
