Swords

Total mystery to me how to get a flat blade out of 3d tool=\ I tried cube.. and put in HOURS hehe. I've made faces from spheres etc :) im no artist.. I would love to be able to model swords but when 3d objects get flat enough or close to it they warp... and blah.

Anyway if anyone can help i'd greatly appreciate it.
