Here is a little tut regarding Alpha's, Pores, and how not to break a nail making them!
pores.jpg
Enjoy my last tut before 2.5!
Lemo

GO GET IT HERE! (http://www.onesmall.com/stuff/ZPores.rar)

PS:PS Excuse the low quality... I am working on tutorials and this just came into my mind, so I recorded it as I went along... I hope my gibberish does not offend anyone.

PS:ZPores.html launches the Player. If it does not work because of mac or whatever reason, then open ZPores.swf. Of course... you need a flash player installed....

PS:I have not seen this workflow before. If someone else has posted this already in a better way, then please let me know and I remove my tut in favor of a link to the more effective presentation of this technique.

Nice Job:D

This is one of the better explained lessons that I have seen. I struggled making pores and now see where I was failing.

Thanks !

But I believe that François Rimasson use some similar technics of yours inside her tut here;)

Great that you like it. And yes, Frenchy, he's using the same technique. It's actually pretty obvious. Once you know how to create the darn deformation 8-).

great tut man
your gnomon series really taught me alot about atmosphere lighting (photoshop). Just that core stuff has always been a real great learn because if the fact that most of the younger artists never learn core fundamentals. We mainly only know the mouse and wacom;)

As far as waiting till 2.5 comes out for the next video gees man don’t retire already, your too young.

Thanks for the vid

Hi, Lemo.

I've always liked this tute. My copy has become corrupted and I don't seem to be able to acquire a full download from the current link. It stops at about 10 sec. Can you direct me to a fresh download?

Thanks!
