Ok, I think this is coming along well. I worked on the forearms neck and the head. I'm kinda stuck on the head far as sculpting. I want this minotaur to look older, aged face with wrinkles and fur. Anyone know a good fur tutorial? Some feedback on my model with be great. Thx

first ever huh? you sure this is your first ever? that looks like some kick ass modeling to me. your parents give you clay to model when you were a kid? good stuff man, i tried to make a minotaur and it came out looking like a drunk cow.

I think first zbrush model ever, def not first 3d model.

yea not bad for your first but, i'd go back to your base mesh and fix the porportions. torso is very awkward as the legs and arms and especially the obliques. the head is to big to. once you do that you MUST reference anatomy. it looks like you may be on the right track w/ the thgh area but the back is a mess. it looks like you made it up. valiant effort, keep it up, but always use reference, cant stress it enough.

Pretty good for your first go with zBrush

But I agree with veedubb, you need to improve on the anatomy and proportions

definetly have some awesome sculpting potential, but I have to agree about the proportions, I think the back is too long, there may be a way to edit the lowest reso though, n use the move tool to get it lower, n then proportion as necessary.

The anatomy is almost there, but it is not believable enough.

The only thing that is really off here is the lack of details on the forearm. Its very noticable compared to everywhere else. The muscles fit the character very nicely and look great.

here is more progress, I mostly worked on the musculature. Trying to make it more accurate. thx for the comments :)

Lookin sweet now, expecially the front/the head seems more proportioned now compared to the body.

The back muscles are just still too odd though.
