Really nice!

Once tips I learn about zspheres, wehn I did my dark crsytal creature, and watching you wings:

Once your zpsheres model is finish, add some zspheres to have a regular zpsheres spacing. This way, you will have equal polygon repartition, and you might not lack of polys like you have on the wings...
Really cool job and elegant model...

Thx a lot for your comments!!. didnīt thought about it, but maybe she is a lady, something between shreck and reign of fire. copy that, Sebcesoir, will be useful for my next model with wings, clothes or big membrane. ok, iīll keep on working on this dragoness

Hey Abraxas!

I think if you define the mucles of the neck, it might help to make it look less like the back. Also I think the legs should be a little bit more thicker. Stronger muscles! Enough for him to support his upper body.

I like the whole concept tho! It looks like the dragon it's made out of rocks. Very cool!

Ok have a good one!

Amazing! Please sir make a tutorial for texture. This is by far one of my favorite models I've seen. You have to make a rider as well. Nice job, GODbless!

I have one question: did you skin it, then sculpt it or did you sculpt the mesh in preview mode (ZSHERES), so if you wanted to repose it you could. ???

hi, beginning color map, tell me what u think. wings need something to fake the poly lack.

dragon_06_skintesting.jpg

answering questions & comments: itīs sculpted in preview mode, keeping zspheres for poses. Iīve tried to define shoulders and low neck muscles a little. About texturing, nothing special, only that blending the layer with the alpha scales with the color maps gives a good cavity effect.

thx a lot for c&c

Looking good, nice scales....only problem i have is that i wonder how it would maintain stabilily and not fall over on his face.

abraXas
12-07-06, 11:57 AM
yep, this is not a natural position. iīll try to do a pose standing on his elbows and folded wings. nice dinos, btw, soyseitan.

the lens flare is taking way too much attention from the dragon

abraXas
12-08-06, 09:40 AM
i agree, these lens effects must be handled very carefully, and i put it not caring too much. my fault, next will be better.
