Questions about Zbrush purchase

Hi all, I have been thinking about upgrading my tool set, and I think Zbrush is what I have been looking for. My main question is:
Does Zbrush come with a free upgrade to to the next version (2.5)? And if so, would the academic license come with the same free upgrade?

Lastly, I assume the academic version is the same as the commercial version just it is to be used for non commercial uses only?

Sorry if these questions have been asked before; my searches havent been terribly successfull.

Anyway, Id like to say hi to the Zbrush community and hopefully will soon be a part of it.

You should give the Pixologic Support a ring. They can answer that. People here hesitate to give answers about topics they do not 100% know about. So, call or email Pixologic, they are very good about that.
