small help for beginer?

I need just a small help , so i have a sphere3D object on canvas and I can't apply to this sphere a ring3D to make together I always lost my first object, so when i draw the ring3D I lost my sphere3D on canvas and i can rotate only the ring3D this is my problem (how to make 2 or 3 or 6 3D objects tools together to make one tool) i know is easy, but i cant understand how it's works,
help me with this.. if possible step by step.
