Well I always faced some of this problem with printers

At the end its all about RGB and cmyk modes.

A good looking work(like my recent illustration) comes horrible, darker losing it effects when printed through cmyk mode........... with an inkjet or sometimes even a digital printer.

But I have seen many art magazines with amazing graphics bright and accurate...

Come on lets share some tips and fundas with printing, so that most of us can really get a good printout of our works..... :D

Make sure your monitor is properly calibrated. If your monitor is set correctly your prints should look close to what you see on the screen. You will always have to do color correction and adjust the levels when you convert to CMYK. Don't be surprised to do 3 or more test proofs per image.
