hey,

i've been working on some terrains here, using Pixolator's Zcript. i love doing these! they're soooooo fun. i made the first one in about an hour. i did it after the second one, and i like it the most, but i'd like to hear which one you guys like most. hope you enjoy them!

Nice stuff, Jib...the only thing I might suggest is that you put another layer in as a background. If you paint it using the 'FLAT COLOR' material, your lighting won't affect your background image.
Nice work! :tu: :D :tu:
BTW: The plant life in the first one is great!

I'm with you, I never get tired of looking at these. I think I like the first one better event thou they are both excellent. You have used a fog alpha to good purpose here, especially in the second one that fills the depression in the hills. But the first one with the folage and the little road between this interestingly textured hills is just fantastic!

The top one looks like a nice place I would like to build a house at... The bottom looks like a cave that is housing some sort of ancient secrets!

Both great!

hey, all...thanks for your comments...Digets, in my second pic, i just put fog in...i don't even know how to use fog alphas yet. i'd appreciate it if someone could fill me in on how to use fog alphas and fog textures.

SB, i made the trees in Zbrush...j/k. i actually downloaded the obj. file from some website. i rotated and positioned them in different placed to give the picture it's cool look. i can upload the tree obj. file if anyone is interested.

thanks again for ya'll's support

Cool lands Jibberish! :tu: :)
I like them both lots...the vegetation and ground material are really cool. In the second, the fog/hole combiantion, whether accident or no is really cool!

great vistas, jibberish! hard choice, as i love the volcano-look of the 2nd, too, but my favorite is the 1st one - not only because of the wonderful trees, depth and colors: there is much more terrain to admire :D more, please!
