i was going to try the coloring widget, but for some reason it doesnt work, as all of the digits widgets. for some reason i can't download the documentation from Z-Place as-well.

when i try to load a script from the menu it says "cant load '....' " and when i try to load the coloring widget it just gives me the script in text at the Zscrip window

i have a theory for why this is happenning. maybe if you wrote the Scripts in Ver 1.23b they wont work with ver 1.23 (which i have).

thank you in advanced..

Hi Silent Bob! Yes, I think it is most likely that you will need 1.23b to run the widgets because 1.23 did not have some of the new features in the Zscript language that I am using.

I have checked my website, I was able to download the Word Format Documentation without a problem, do you get an error message when you try it?

There are some other links as well for some of the scripts that are in html format. Try this one for the Color Widget

Color Widget Documentation (http://www.cyber-webs.com/zbrush/scripts/colorwidget.htm)

Let me know if you still have problems once you get 1.23b

Thanks for giving them a whirl!

Actually, it does mention in the doc how I did the eye, Thanks I thought it looked pretty cool too.

One of the Color Widget functions is PixolDraw, which allows you to mark of a square on the canvas using your mouse. Then if fills in the area very precisely using the current brush size only within that area.
How I did the patterns on the eye was to use a alpha as a stencil and use Pixol draw to dab in the colors with a drawsize of 1. While the PixolDraw is dabbing in the colors automatically it is also changing the color selected based upon the different settings you can use with the Color Widget.

Hope that explains a little, when you get to where you can fiddle with it just experiment a bit to figure out what you can do with it.

Oh! of course the Eye itself is the wonderful work of Southern, I just added the doodahs on it. I bet thou you can make some wild looking irises using the color widget thou.
