I was wondering how I would add a design I already created onto the surface of my model. What is this called and how do I do it ? :D I saw this on one of the tutorials, there was a poison symbol on the forehead of the face and this is exactly what I'm trying to do with a different symbol. Thanks!
i would import the design as a texture and then fill the layer as the texture. Then, i would take the object (lets say a shpere3d) and place it over the figure. After that, i would use 3D copy to place the background layer onto the sphere. It may turn out to be stretched though. I think Aurick made a post where he took a butterfly and placed it on the face of a character model. I will search for the post.
edit: here it is
it is a very good tut!! http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=003997

The easiest way is to take your design, make it an Alpha, then convert your Alpha to a stencil... ;)
Here's a script...
StencilAlpha.txt (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1014765277iwy.txt)
Here's what it produces...
