View Full Version : A couple morew questions
:( Hello to all.First I must say sorry for all the recent questions and I know you all must fed up with them BUT I will ask any way.Is there any program out there that allows you to change the saved format of a picture(eg. from jpg too zbr and so forth).
And the second question is I have the demo version(as I still can't afford the full version :( )and I can't change the page size to max,or any other size but default- is this because I have the demo?
Thank you all once again for taking the time to post any answers for me - it is greatly appreciated :tu:
Keep up all the GREAT work.

Nope.

Yes.
I know answers are short :( Hope this helps.
Hi Syco. No such thing as too many questions. We all learned by asking the same ones -- or seeing the answers where someone else had asked them! :)
For these questions, here are your answers:
The demo version does not allow you to change your canvas size. If it did everything a user regularly wants it to do, then there wouldn't be much incentive to actually buy the full version! LOL So this is one of the demo's restrictions -- offering enough space to see what the program is capable of without allowing you to get enough space to do the really amazing stuff. Not to knock the demo size, at all; I've seen some really awesome pictures done at the default canvas size.
For the second question, a program like Photoshop will let you change a 2D image from one format (like BMP, PSD or JPG) to another. None of them, however, will allow you to convert an image to or from the native ZBR format. They pretty much only see pixels -- the RGB color values for every dot that makes up the picture. They wouldn't know what to make of a pixol -- ZBrush's technique of also tracking depth, material and orientation -- if it bit them! So the bottom line is that an exported ZBrush image (PSD or BMP) can easily be changed to a JPG or any other 2D format. But the 2.5D format of the ZBR file is unique to ZBrush.

Looks like dOb answered while I was typing. So you've got your choice of the short version or the verbose! ;) Thanks, dOb!
Thank you both for taking the time to answer yet another silly question from me-but I dare say as I get more involved with this program the questions should come to a holt(hopefully). Thanks again.
