the texture is great and the eye is veeeerrrry good too!!!!
Great looking picture. The eye is especially striking, although IMO the texture lacks a little detail on the iris. Very good :tu: Welcome aboard.
Thanks dudes.
Frency Pillow: Can't show the body (yet). He only got head. I will post full body pic. when I get his body done.
Here is another render from slightly different angle. Better or badder?

nice. only critique is the specularity looks ok at the front edge of the head but it looks a bit of place farther back or in the dimple, and splotchy across the top of the head.

Hi, iekc, what exactly was done in max, just rendering? The eye and skin texture - is it imported from zbrush? or made in max? thanks for reply.
Cheers dudes :)
The skin texture and eye were made in MAX. The skin is basically a mix of procedural textures and bitmap textures.
I made a tutorial how I made my eye. I think it tells quite completely how I made it. Hope this helps someone.

Great detailed tut for a 3DMax user
Very technical approach !
Zbrush is more intuitive :)
Your personnal site is very hard to open !?!
Is it on your computer ?
Maybe it's the bad hour !
I shall try a another time :)
Pilou
Thanks.
It's not on my computer. My domain is just broken today. I'm pretty shure it will be up again soon. Tomorrow at last.
Yes ZBrush is intuitive. That's why it's sometimes nice to work with without better thinking what to do :)
But in MAX you have to think all the time.
By the way can I melt objects together in ZBrush 1.55b?

Hi Iekc
Yes, you can :) It's the "Star" polymesh tool who make this melting
Pilou
Yeah! it works.
Quick body test. I probably will change the body totally different from. Now it resembles human quite much. I'm not sure if it is what I want. Also have to add a lot of detail to the head and other body.
