Challenge...Is it possable?

I have a challenge, if it's even possable...Probably more as a question, but if it is possable, I would be interested in seeing some concepts.
Can you model inside an object?
Could you take a 3D Cube, and box model it hollow, and create something inside it?
Now this is a challenge. Has someone EVEN tried this?

yes, it has been done. like a room inside a video game for example. it is a hollow box with stuff sculpted inside.
