View Full Version : Juvenile Curiosity
I've had a sketch of this idea for a long time and though I should finish it before Halloween. The character is more like Fred Gwynne than the Karloff version. Most is done with Zbrush. Only the hair is Painter. For rendering I put all of it [except the background] together on one layer. Hope you like.

This is really fun.
I love the look on his face.
The only thing that doesn't read to me is the lump on his forehead. My eye goes straight to it.

HaHa! I think he looks great! The pose and expression are just right on this one. Almost the "kid in the candy jar" look. Hair from Painter is nicely integrated on this and by no means appears to be "painted on".
Excellent job. :D

The second one is really great !
I know this is an old thread, but I was trying to contact Pride, had to join to get access but still can't seem to get the eMail or PM to work, so I had to reply on here.
I just wanted to ask you Pride if you'd allow me to use your two Frankenstein images on my Fred Gwynne site (since your Frank seems to resemble him quite a bit and looks incredibly awesome). I'd be putting them in my gallery with credit (name, link if you've got a site, or I can just link to this thread). If not, I completely understand and just thought I'd ask.
Btw, I ran into them via Google images. Oh, and my Fred site is: http://www.fredgwynne.net
