Inspired by the 82' version of J.Carpenter's The Thing...when the head separated off of the body and sprouted legs and tried to walk away...something weird and fun before bed...I have to try to add another set fo eyes on stems and hair and maybe some more goodies..

Hey Ron,
I knew that looked familiar, just watched the movie a couple of nights back, I remeber exactley what part of the movie your getting your inspiration from :)....man was that something!!!
I remember that the head was some kind of a speder !!!thing!!!..can't pick up exactly what your is..but it looks cool non the less :)
nice work

Had nightmares with that movie when I was a kid. :D  Ron, I reckon the spider head was possibly the most horrible thing in that film (or ugh, maybe the foul squirting dog). Cool job on the gruesome head and slimy legs. :tu: :tu:

This is really fantastic work Ron, One of your best methinks! I love that movie! It scared me when I was a kid too!
I have been playing The Thing on Xbox lately... it starts where the movie left off and it was written by John Carpenter also! So it is the continuation or in other words... part two,
Very cool stuff,
Best regards,
Michael

Michael, I didn't know that about the game. I've got to get that. There was a comic book series that came out a long time ago that was a continuation of the Thing, as well.
