I tried to zip and add my zbr document for who want to experiment in the same document I worked. But it's so big. Sorry.

It looks crunchy and sweet.That's a fine bug dob.Nice texture.
You've captured beetle chitin perfectly. It has just the right specularity, along with that cool iridescence. Very nice modeling and bumping, too! The shell is really believable.

Do 14 million of them and rent them out as extras on the Mummy Three. Scarabliscious!! Kinda gets under the skin this one :)

Nice beetle! The metalic skin and bluish colors are very bug-like. :tu:
I agree with Kat, that it could be a dung bug of some kind.
